Wrong again. The Civic Si at the time had a far superior suspension. Double wishbones are a far better setup than a strut. That's why 88-91 Civic Si's win National Championships in Auto-X. Also the DA Integra sported double wishbones. A modification that would've made more sense and improved the handling more than toeing the rear out would've been a viscous LSD.

Even for its time, the Storm/Impulse suspension was an inferior geometry but to its credit it's dialed in okay from the factory. But an all around strut suspension is never going to be called superior technically unless you're comparing it to a suspension setup from the 70's.

Don't buy into something that's really a bunch of marketing hype and nothing else.

They are fast but not unbeatable.
I think there was a 240 and a 2.5rs subie in contention last year.
I'd like to buy a 240 someday

I agree on the better solution for the Honda, but it is expensive, new Civics use it only for rear axle, a change I still consider a mistake since they shoud have kept the feature that made their cars unique. And the suspension on our cars is better than having the crappy twist-beam axle in the rear of most new compact cars: Aveo, Cobalt, Corolla, Astra, Golf, Fiesta, Clio, Palio, Punto, Sentra, Tiida/Versa, and on and on.

My mom's Fiat has it, and believe it, the feeling is crappy.

I-Marks do not need it!.. We will just agree with anything on paper; then take it to the track and beat the c... out of anything on 4-wheels..

I remember Bridgehampton in Long Island.... Integra GSRs where marginally faster (on the straight) with any-and-all bolt-ons at the time, and I had only a homemade intake and an exhaust system. Ohhh those where the days!

Imarks do handle pretty good stock. Problem with mine is the struts kinda suck.

Future suspension upgrades: Strut bar, RTR Coil overs,

However rear wheel drive on a JR is so nice.

Lotus models probably feel a little more neutral because of the bigger rear bar allowing more weight transfer to the outside rear tire and the bigger front bar helped reduce camber loss in the front, but all Isuzu JI models have this because the geometry is exactly the same. It's really nothing special. Most cars have toe steer to one degree or another. Most cause toe in under compression to enhance stability. A lot of sporty FWD and AWD cars have toe out under compression for the same reason we have it.

2nd Gen Mazda RX-7's use the deforming bushings to get "rear steering" but with a totally different geometry.

Thank you Robbie, I was beginning to lose faith the Zone gods were dormant.

The double wishbone setup was nice, but I'll still take the handling of the Storm GSi/Impulse over the Teggy. The Integra of the same generation feels better for daily driving, but that's about it.

When you have a long and big black johnson (with a large blood carrying vein), you can do these kinds of things.
