dude in a storm you definitely need to have a shorter box, or turn it down to fire towards the front of your car, there is DEFINITELY not enough air in front of those subs for them to fire efficiently. If you move it down to fire towards you then it will sound better and last longer, your subs will be able to "breath" better without that glass right in front of them.

Im just saying what this guy I work with told me when he checked out my car (Storm). He use to do setups proffesionally back in the day.

it's a wagonback, which has a million times more room back there.

No the black storm that is the "project" on this thread isnt a wagon-back, it dont look like one from the pics on the first page. I was just talking about Slasher's setup, not the one he built for his friend.

Those pics of the speaker box are from a late 90's Hyundai Accent.

goes to a pressure switch located under the power steering pump, on the pump itself. it's to signal the engine computer when the wheels are turned all the way and there is alot of pump pressure, so it can raise the idle a tad to prevent the car from dieing when making tight turns at idle like in a parking lot.

just feel under the pump, you will feel the one prong sticking out. just plug that wire onto the prong and you're good to go. it's not necessary and most of the time the connection isn't that good anyways so it's up to you whether you want to hook it up or not.

Thanks dude, its been unhooked for a solid..... idk like 5 months or more

i kinda figured it had to go to the power steering pump because thats about all it can reach too..

Has anyone ever seafoamed there car? I've heard some good things about it but have never tried it because im still skeptical about it..

for adding to the intake or gas, I like BG 44K.

Seafoam is good too, I'm currently running it my oil in my storm with about a 1000 miles on it so far (engine has 195,000). But with seafoaming the oil I think it has more to do with the current state of the engine. Say if you have a quarter inch of sludge build up, then you probably don't want to add it unless you change your oil or atleast the filter a couple times for the first couple hundred miles and for sludge that heavy you would probably be better off using proper engine flush solvents.

after awhile your exhaust will smell funny, kind of like burning brake cleaner.

Well yesterday was an all out shitty day! So im drivin my car down my street, stop at the stop sign, pull out onto route 11 and as soon as i get in my lane car shuts off, starter won't crank the engine over, soooooo it's seized
I've tried a different battery, ive tried charging both batteries, and no matter what when i turn the key it just dims lights and doesnt turn over. Oil is fine as far as level goes, and it leaks quite a bit, so i havent changed it, because i have to put about a quart in a week.

Sooo in conclusion the storm is dead, but it'll get a heart transplant sooner or later just gives me more incentive to do it :P

I found this yesterday when i was tearing everything apart, apparently the aluminum where the one bolt that holds a bracket for the clutch cable broke, and the previous owner jb welded it back together

well anyway i got most of the work done yesterday, all thats left today (weather permitting) is drop the axles and take the engine and trans out
