Default GRAPHIC PIC Always check your throttle cable rebound...

We were out riding the other day and my buddy got in some trouble and low sided his bike. Amazingly this was all that happened... Stitched up pics to come.

Poor quality cell phone pic but you get the idea:

It was on a XR500 thumper (converted with street tires and front disk).

That whole chunk is a flap, you could see the tendons and Ligaments.

oh yah. ..that looks familiar. i did a little worse on a dirtbike. the cut on my right knee was 6 inches long and under the flap of skin that just hung was my entire knee cap. didnt feel too good and didnt look too good either. i ended up getting 2 layers of stiches; one layer of dissolving stitches and a top layer of regular stitches totalling 33.

was he wearing shorts or pants?
When I laid my bike down it scraped my knee real bad, couldnt shake the pain for like a month, but the jeans kept me from having that much gravel up in there.
What sucks about the knee is he is going to be feeling that one for a long time.
